Illinois Institute of Technology, 2023 · Gamma Beta Chapter

Gamma Beta alumnus Joshua Silets was featured in the Winter 2024 issue of The Rainbow for his work as co-founder and CEO of GridLink. The Fraternity published the profile online on January 16, 2024.

With fellow Delt brothers Ryan McPhail and Gabriel Bryk, Silets developed software to help electric-vehicle fleet operators manage charging, reduce costs, and use energy more efficiently.

The story follows their path from student competitions to Illinois Tech’s Kaplan Institute startup accelerator. Along the way, the team won a $10,000 Computing for Social Good prize and a $30,000 pitch competition, and became the first Illinois Tech team invited to the Rice Business Plan Competition.

Read Janine Wampler’s full profile, A.I. Major Already Ahead of the Arc, for the brothers’ journey from a first-semester hackathon to building GridLink.
