Scholarship Committee
Help carry Vance Richards’ legacy forward through scholarships for today’s Gamma Beta brothers.
What the committee does
- Invite nominations. Help brothers understand the scholarship and encourage thoughtful nominations.
- Review candidates. Consider service, character, leadership, perseverance, and financial need under the scholarship criteria. Volunteers disclose any conflicts of interest.
- Recommend awards. Gamma Beta alumni select recipients and coordinate documentation with the Educational Foundation, which approves eligible uses and distributions.
Plan for approximately a two-year commitment, with most activity around the award cycle. We’ll explain the schedule and responsibilities before you commit.
