Vance Richards PC76, who joined the Chapter Eternal in 2025, is a revered Delt Brother. He contributed unparalleled service during his lifetime – faithfully serving as the Chapter’s House Father and steadfast guardian of our Shelter for over 40 years.

The Vance Richards Memorial Scholarship, held within the Delta Tau Delta Educational Foundation (501c3), supports Gamma Beta juniors and seniors who reside in the shelter and exemplify steady service, character, and quiet leadership—for those who, like Vance, wear the badge as a silent witness to a noble and unselfish life.

Nominated by their Brothers and chosen by Alumni volunteers, recipients may also be selected based on need— who demonstrate unrelenting persistence through personal, financial, or family challenges to and remain committed to both scholarship and fraternity.
